JAY ROSENFELD, OD
Dr Rosenfeld received his Optometric Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and earned his BA from SUNY AT Buffalo. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Pinellas Optometric Association.

He is board certified by the Florida Board of Optometry and has been in private practice in Clearwater, FL since 1982. He specializes in general Optometry with an emphasis on innovative contact lens treatments, including the new multifocal astigmatic contact lenses. Dr Jay is celebrating 40 years in practice!

His practice incorporates the treatment of eye diseases including glaucoma and is integrally involved with and provides pre and post operative care for cataract surgery, and all refractive eye surgeries such as Lasik, PRK and intraocular lens implants and multifocal options.

Dr Jay Rosenfeld also incorporates the latest in digital refractive equipment using the state of the art equipment from Huvitz, allowing for the most accurate and reliable spectacle and contact lens prescriptions.

His digital imaging system provides photo documentation of the retina and external eye. He has also just added the latest in visual field technology utilizing a virtual reality format.

Dr Rosenfeld is originally from New York City. He moved to Florida in 1982 and resides in Safety Harbor, with his wife, Gail and 3 dogs, Niles, Sammy & Adam. Stop by and see the dogs behind the counter.

He is an avid fan of the Lightning, Rays and Bucs, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. Dr Jay is very proud to be able to continue to bring the latest and safest innovations in the eye care field to Pinellas County.
